As of 2014, the GIS department does not own GPS equipment with acceptable precision for collecting manhole locations & elevations. Description: This layer is a collection of all of the sanitary sewerlines maintained by the Medina County Sanitary Engineering Department in the County of Medina. It should also be noted that this layer includes gravity mains, as well as forcemains within the MCSE system.
Description: This layer is a collection of all of the waterlines maintained by the Medina County Sanitary Engineering Department in the County of Medina. Water Mains include two subtypes, "Raw Water" and "Potable Water". Raw water may be transferred using uncovered ground-level aqueducts, covered tunnels or underground water pipes to water purifcation facilities. Water Mains carrying potable water consist of pressurized pipe networks for distribution of water to the consumers and other usage points (such as hydrants).
